Best NFL analyst since prime Madden imo. The dude is smart, funny, insightful, and just makes watching the game more enjoyable. He thinks out-loud like a fan, too

What do ya'll think about the genius that is Romo?

I agree. He's entertaining and insightful. When the cat ran on the field last night, I lol'd when he said "let's see if he got his feet in bounds on that last step".

He straight up said something like, "Hopefully they get this penalty called so we can go home" in the first half. I mean, I agreed with him, but it shocked me to hear it.

He's damn good. Makes some bad games worth watching. Such a smart ass too. He dogged next Thursday's game. Called the Jets/Bills game the "game of the year" or something like that.

Also several times, he called the play before it happened. Or said what one team should start doing. He's not afraid to be wrong but he's usually spot on.

Sometimes he gets so amped up it feels like WWE commentary, but yeah he’s a ton better than Simms.

He's pretty good tbh.. It's funny seeing these simpleton Cowboy haters who don't even know why they hate the Cowboys hate on Tony on social media, and rage when people say he's doing great

He elevates Nantz's game too tbh. Jim has been cracking some good ones too lately.

Good call, I always thought Nantz was a corporate shill just biding his time till The Masters, but he's come out of his s and actually has a personality since Tony arrived.

    he's great tbh

the only guys that don't like are old s who always complain that he's broken some "traditional code" or guys who hated him when he was a player. I like creativity and originality in color commentators, especially when they actually know the game. Almost on par with the GOAT Bill Walton, IMO

I'm actually glad he's good in the booth. It's particularly satisfying that he has to watch better men succeed on the field while he has to live with the reality that he was replaced by Dak Prescott

Romo is fantastic. And....knows some history of it all, which is very cool. I like the way he tears it apart and gives another level of insight.

Since he has the highest quarterback rating for the month of December in NFL history I guess he's on par for the greatest

Pretty good golfer too. Heard he wants to be more involved with the PGA.
