Having to insert the 40 year old to orchestrate the offense just to scrap a win vs the Mavs.
Neither had the mental toughness last year. And Anderson played his way out of the rotation last year, tbh.

Dirk an even bigger traffic cone than Parker.
Dennis Smith Jr is going to be a killer eventually. mavs got a good one in him at least.
Closer closing the games he’s supposed to close
MVPELON earned HOF level kudos for this one at 40 tbh.
I'll take the W, but it's embarrassing that it was such a struggle.
no he didn't, but I don't care to argue with you. enjoy your hate train.
it's over. There were absolutely no real highlights this game. No one played well just adequate.
Pop was managing minutes. It was basically a light jog out there. Don't know what struggle you saw.
Lakers
Damn, decent win but can't play like this tomorrow nite!!
I'm not so sure. Smith lost them that game, if you don't think the Spurs came out and won it. Dude was a huge negative when things were tight and only came on once the team was told to lay off to avoid fouls. He's super-quick, but his size caps his ceiling. If Murray weren't a poor defender, and if Mills weren't Mills, he would have looked even worse.
or should we say Knicks...
LMA - 36 mins
Fathead - 34 mins
Mills - 30 mins
LDN - 27 mins on a bad hamstring
Am I the only one who saw Mills get murdered constantly by pressure defense again and the Spurs struggle to generate consistent offense outside LMA postups?
Knicks grabbed Porzingis when they could. Besides, that French guy isn't looking too shabby. Lakers on the other hand, have been throwing lottery picks to the trash for I don't know how many years now.
ok how do you explain everyone on the roster playing and Manu not playing till the second half basically?
I noticed his mentality though. He's young and made his mistakes.. but he was unafraid and he really wanted to kill you if he could.
Though... point taken with Mills being out there tbh. He can make Austin Rivers look like an all star.
He might make Lonzo Ball finally look like the star Lakers want him to be.
Having to play Manu at all, when he wasn't originally planned to, doesn't help your position, tbh.
God, I can't wait till Tony is back. Dribble dribble dribble is way better than what this team does now.
