I don't get your point... there aren't any innings in soccer.
I think if they reduce motionlessball to 6 innings then it might have a change to survive in an ever changing racial demographic in the US.

-7 innings.
-a shot clock between pitches.
-making relievers warm up faster.
-putting a restriction to the amount of time managers can walk into the diamond to slow the game down.
All those things I think would be beneficial for baseball, tbh.
Baseball still living rent free
And what demographic change is going to affect baseball? Mexicans and Latinos love it. The WS was the highest rated non-soccer sports program ever on Spanish language TV.
All good except 7 innings. They used to be able to play 9 inning games in under 2 hours. Pitchers just need to get on with it and batters need to stop in' with their gloves. Late inning relief pitching changes also drag time along. No need for warm up pitches on the mound. Run your ass out of the bullpen to the mound and start throwing. Should take no more than 30 seconds.
Baseball's evolution should be geared toward more balls in play at a faster rate (this is how baseball was originally played). I would like to see tweaks that reduce strikeouts to about 2 per game. I'm still okay with walks. Pitchers need to punished for control and batters need to be rewarded for a good eye. Considering the future, I would want baseball to be played at a faster pace but have 54 outs (6 outs per inning) instead of 27. Cut pitch time down to 8-15 seconds like it used to be, and you could play 54 out baseball in about 3 hours. Stars get more ABs, slumps don't last as long, more balls in play=more to do for fielders and a greater chance of a great defensive play every game.
Anyhow, Apa, don't have to lie to kick it. Go buy MLB The Show and start appreciating the finest designed team sport there is. I know you want to
A, 7 inning snorefest is still a snorefest
Weekend World Cup qualifying matches.
10 matches played, 8 in ties! And 5 of those ties were 0-0

ClipperNation
Worst designed major sport on the planet.
How embarrassing that teams that are potentially "good" enough to play in the Third-World Cup can't even score one ing goal. That's just a pathetic excuse for a "sport."
Even in the off season soccer s can't stop posting about baseball in the NBA forum.
Man, the fact that soccer/futbol folks have to make a weak thread to apparently disparage a sport that is in its off season reeks of inferiority. Thos 0-0 ties, man, they're exciting.

One inning would be one inning too much
Should basically be a 1 out game. One out and everybody can go destroy the nearest Fridays
Agree with most if not all this post.
Now......what are we gonna do to change all the stupid ass 0-0 tie games in soccer?
Give penalty kicks for flopping, we'll see a bunch of triple digit games.
A weight restriction would retire 90% of 4-stomach ballers
if OP is going to keep going with his shtick, how can he call baseball boring if he' still talking about it during the offseason?
To be fair the offseason is when lardball players are the most active tbh
