The story is much creepier than the picture. I'll be interested to see if this sets off other accusations and shows a pattern of behavior.

The political side is a power trip, but a whole lot of what happens in the entertainment field is enabled by the American love for pop culture and sycophancy.
He was good for a few zingers and generally contributed more than I thought he would, but he also sort of epitomized elite liberal snobbery. Kind of a Bill Maher Lite.

franken's effort to cast this off as failed humor is part of the problem. it should not even be considered as a joke. why would he think the notion of taking advantage of a woman be funny? it doesn't make him an actual sexual predator but it does make him a part of the indifference and sense of en lement that plagues the issue. then again, being indifferent, out of touch and en led seems to describe a great deal of the established democrats at this time.
