Durant would not sit against OKC on a Sunday before Thanksgiving for no reason. That's a big game, he'd want to shine.

If the Warriors trounce OKC regardless, that's going to either light a fire under Russ (thus lockerroom trouble) or shift the team even more into excuse mode.

Lol, I'm fully aware of all of that and I've hated that for years. But he already got the treatment last season when he played at OKC. What are they gonna do, boo harder?

The fact that he doesn't seem content and secure even after winning a ring and Finals MVP is should be enough for people.

Yes but since last season he won a ring with the Evil Empire and called out Thunder management using a fake twitter account for surrounding him with crappy role players (before they signed Melo and PG13). Pretty inflammatory IMO

This is the I hate about the NBA now. Most of the guys in the league don't even hate Durant or anyone else. It's just a bunch of needless drama that no one one cares about except the media and casuals that watch BSPN.
