4/50 ain't that bad....underpaid & rewarded for his 14 playoff run + his towel waving & positive at ude was a big part of the Spurs culture which spread throughout the team.

Dude makes 1/11 our salary cap. And he is our best PG and rarely is injured.

Yep, it sucks that our 7th and 8th scoring options, sorry 8th and 9th scoring options, can catch fire and drop double digits in a qtr.

I’ve got this theory, people always talk about Patty getting up for contract years, but what I figure is it’s actually him playing better out the gate coming of national team duty, which I think boils down to him not getting enough reps in the off season. Now I’m not saying he is lazy or doesn’t work hard, but he does an enormous amount of charity work when he goes home in off seasons when he is not playing for Australia. So it’s not a massive surprise to see him hitting his straps 20-30 games in coming off of a basketball free summer.

Agreed ....for patty basketball is not his no.1 priority. He’s all about the culture and staying true to his roots.
That said he’s arguably the best pg on the team atm even though he’s a streaky / microwave player suited to a backup role.

He could have been a star AFL player but I’m glad he went to AIS as he was a key piece in the 14 run.

    I agree
With Kawhi in the starting lineup Parker is not aggressif again like last year in the regular season. He is useless standing still in the corner.
Give him the bench with shooters around and a good P&R big and it will help everyone

    He sucks for 4/50.

Sure, he can shoot when wide open ( impressive?). When it matters, good teams and smart coaches exploit him relentlessly to where he's a net negative most games a series.

Also, he shoots 35% when he has the ball in PnRs, gets to the line 4% of those possessions and turns it over 13.4% of the time.

It will be the same song in May when teams crucify Mills/ TP on the defensive end.
