I'd of restes everyone he did in that OKC game too tbh. Spurs are in the middle of a 5 game in 7 days stretch and a month where they play 18 games. Need to rest where you can while giving some guys burn and winning the games you should. Really sucks Fathead got hurt in that game but it could've happened anywhere.
I suppose you do have a good point but Pop needed to call up Hilliard and Costello. I would have rested Kyle too the second half of that game but I think coach wanted to give him as much experience as he could and he’s young. Coulda played B2B. I do think he should’ve called up the 2way contracts but that’s passed. Hopefully he does this time. You have a good plan.

That’s a good point but I’ll be honest I think it taxes the few that play in the undermanned games risking further injuries. Spurs are small and are missing 2 forwards. They’ll get clobbered physically. I suppose call Costello and Hilliard...

but I admit your reasoning makes sense
They should be calling up those two, that's what they have them for.

He was due. The magazine was empty last game and at OKC. Happy for him (and team, they needed each bucket)

LMA still has another four games to get his touches tbh. Kawhi won't come back til Dallas on the 16th.
Had to quote you again to tell you Jabari Young said on his postgame video that Kawhi is unlikely for Friday. We shall see what Pop does about the resting. I am concerned that the team has a lot of chemistry right now, their shooters are playing well and sometimes rest does throw players rhythm off. Also as I said Spurs are small and they already rested their guys against OKC a few days ago. Maybe Pop plays everyone that’s healthy. I think the young guys especially need to compete against good compe ion and get tested. But we shall see what happens. If Pop rests ppl so be it. .

Kyle and Kawhi might come back around the same time or within a week of each other it’s looking like, which is crazy.

Good game ... Miami was hot from three and it still was not enough. Scary moment with Manu, but thankfully he is alright!

I was counting on Kawhi this Friday, but looking at some posts here it is delayed ...

Pop said he reminds him of Steph Curry. That’s a confidence boost statement from Pop.

It just makes me wonder about this summer. Hopefully the team keeps him... Pop is really high on his potential development

I believe our young Bryn has a better shooting average than Steph...so it's working!

We survived mega scrub Reggie Jackson, I think we can handle Miami.
Well Dion and Tyler scored almost 50 points, but Spurs won. So there.
