I feel like Aldridge, Gasol, and Anderson were clearly our 3 best players
With Kawhi on the horizon, here are my Top 5, Spurs players of the season (based on performance and production this season, not potential, ability or previous seasons' performance).
1. LaMarcus
2. Pau
3. Rudy
4. Kyle
5. Danny (Some might want to put others here, but Danny's D gives him the nod)
Truthfully, 2-5 are almost even and can be re-ordered nearly any way.
Will update at the 2/3 season mark.
Yeah, its just my opinion, but at least I didn't post the 4th game thread for tonight. So could be worse.

Based on OP's criteria, I cannot rank Tony that high. However his absence for about a quarter of the season demonstrated clearly that in order of importance to the team of players other than Kawhi your list would be pretty good. For evidence just look at the ranking of the other PGs - Dijon at 9 and 50Mills AWOL.
Danny and Kyle are neck-and-neck in my book.
It is only a matter of time.
Nice to see the preseason is over and the Spurs are now primed for their first regular season game.

Rudy has been able to step up lately and I think he will continue to be impactful.. but Anderson was really steady when he played, and helped win games when most everyone else but the 3 above mentioned (and Danny for some games) were the only ones playing well.
Lately though, Rudy has been important since neither Kawhi or Kyle were available to play and I think without a legit SF, the Spurs would have been in trouble. Also, at this point, the Spurs finally have many roleplayers playing well, which is for the best.

Actually threads like this are fun to keep track of during the season and all.
without us doing game grades and all that trouble that Chinook went through last season, it's nice to keep track of team performances at least in a summary version.
