I think I recall some scrub called Patterson. I remember he was the prototypical 90's/early 00's SF "enforcer", that couldn't do except act tough and foul people.
Was Bonzi the original Kobe stopper? Seems like it was someone on Portland.

Ruben Patterson. His game was two parts Desmond Mason, one part Tony Allen with a similar on court personality as Stephen Jackson. And iirc, he anointed himself as the Kobe stopper. Not sure if anyone actually agreed with him. But he was athletic, strong, tough, talked and didn't back down. His actual basketball talent was pretty awful other than playing tough d and being pretty athletic.
im with Amb ...it took a suspension and multiple injuries along with iconic performances from Lebron and Kyrie in games5-7 for Cavs to win in 7 games on a last second shot... pre-Durant. not sure how the odds dont favor them if team stays healthy even if Durant doesnt come. especially coming off the best record in nba history ...not saying they win withour KD, but they stilll are slight favorites in Vegas even factoring Cavs easier path.
Clear flop and 0 IQ...
Yea it wasn't him, though he did destroy the Spurs in a playoff series when he was with the Kings. The guy knew what to do in a contract year.
ruben patterson
but then kobe took a on his soul
I knew it wasn't; I just couldn't remember Patterson off the top of my head.
In today's game, Harden would have hit the bottom of the backboard and then been at the line for three shots.
You can't really destroy a team if you don't beat it, tbh.
Still Bron-bron ...but he needs to stop whoring hinself for triple doubles and get back to being a scoring and chase down block beast, LeBron...

Too bad we are talking about odds of winning the le and not making it to the finals though.
And spurs beating the warriors. Not to mention the Spurs were swept. Not to mention the warriors went through the playoffs 16-1.
The warriors even without the servant were clear favourites. That’s what Vegas said immediately after the finals. Before the servant tagged on.
The original Kobe stopper was anyone. He couldn’t even start.
anyone not from san antonio spurs
the absence of cp3 has really exposed houston. harden’s a good player but his game is far too gimmicky to be considered as the most valuable . he’s just far too concerned in drawing fouls. you can say lebron is a stat padder and while there’s a partial truth in that statement, what separates him from harden is his ability to play lock down D, if needed.
im not blaming him for chasing triple doubles it got Russ a mvp but Bron should be focused on his 4th LOB instead
Outscored by Bruce Bowen in a playoff game
choke harden
blew a 26 point lead.
2 turnovers in 4 seconds
15/15 ft, 7 turnovers
4th quarter
0:03 James Harden turnover 98 - 99
0:03 James Harden offensive foul 98 - 99
0:03 Al Horford makes 5-foot driving floating jump shot 98 - 99
0:07 James Harden turnover 98 - 97
0:07 James Harden offensive foul 98 - 97
If by MVP you mean "stupid got chucker who makes bad choices and loses games for his team," then sure, you could make a case for Harden.
top 3 choke of the year so far from frauden tbh...
An all time SG my ass. This cat is so mentally weak
im sure some of those fts are legit ...but 15 FTs?!
