First, they managed to convince the average NBA fan that Tyson Chandler, David West and Peja were scrubs. Next, they convinced the average fan that Blake Griffin was a scrub. Now they're working to retcon the "Frauden should have been MVP" narrative and replace it with a new "CP0 is the real MVP" narrative. Just watch: when the Rockets choke in the playoffs, the storyline will be that CP0 can't possibly be expected to win with a loser like Frauden. Media (and, as a result, casual fans) will conveniently ignore the fact that he forced a trade specifically to play with Frauden.
