    So I have a purchased copy of Acrobat XI. Very easy to edit text, objects, etc.

    They announced that they would stop supporting it this last summer.
    Which is fine. Never had the need.

    However, somewhere after that point, they updated the software on the version that I own and it makes it pretty much impossible to edit text in a pdf without it ing up the format of the do ent.

    It's the new way of doing things (been that way a while actually). They always find a way to make legacy products useless so you have to buy the new . Just ask Apple and Sony.
