I pray this is rock bottom. I can't imagine anyone worse than Lauvergne but I never thought it could get worse than Errors.
You know it's bad when no one bothers to come up with a nickname for such a ty player even to mock them.
I thought we hit rock bottom with Ayres/Pendegraff, tbh....
DEAD WRONG

Maybe cos his name is already pretty goofy, tbh.
Need a game of one-on-one between Ayers and Joffrey to settle this once and for all tbh.
Is Ginger a better shot blocker than Lannister?
Ginger T-Rex had 50 by his second year in the league while Jofful has 31 in 4 years with zero so far this season.
So, yeah, Ginger was actually the much better shot blocker.
I'm a better shot blocker tbh.
lol...WOW.
not credited on espn stats..
watch for that -15 in a game the team won.

They called it a turnover on Lebron. Not that I blame them.
It was clearly a TO the ball simply landed in his hands...
Parker/Mills/Forbes/Bertans/Joff. Parker is actually the strong point of that lineup defensively.
time to trade for a more decent big than jolo
Replace Forbes with Manure and you have a point. Forbes is better defensively than he gets credit for..
All of your takes are bad. geesh.
Forbes has been under my critical review for months. In other words, I focus on every single detail of every play that he is involved in. Because his decision-making drives me up a wall. I can't help it.
When it comes to Bryn's defense, HIS DEFENSE IS ATROCIOUS. It's not for lack of effort either - he has plenty of that.
He cannot, and I say this for the umpteenth time, control his momentum. He overcommits his momentum 80% of the time which is why people use it against him.
When he closes out on 3 point shooters, he cannot contain himself and ends up under them. He's been called for fouling 3 point shooters on 9 occasions this season - that might not seem like much but the team as a whole has only done so 17 times. It's frustrating to watch - last night he closed out on Crowder and on Isaiah Thomas, and was lucky not to be called for it.
The technical foul for checking into the game before Danny Green could check out, highlights his focus issues.
Can he shoot? Yes. The other aspects of his game (playmaking, etc...) are still too raw and in full development. But his defense? Ugggh.
Who wants more fun with Lolffrey stats?
According to NBA.com advanced stats through the defensive dashboard:
Among all players 6-10 and over, with at least 20 games played, Opponents are shooting 72.4% on him under 6 feet from the rim.
2nd worst in the league, behind the smaller, former small forward broken down Chandler Parsons. Parsons at least has 9 blocks in double the minutes.
Blocking shots isn't everything, but affecting shots is. And Joffrey is affecting them right into the rim.
More fun:
Sure, blocks aren't everything. And yeah, maybe his defensive fg% within 6 feet is worst in the league among players his size ...
But there's more to defense, right?
After all, there's a little thing called HUSTLE
Oberto wasn't a big time shot blocker. He was smaller than Joffrey, but like him, he wasn't some great leaper. He did have 24 blocks in 1365 minutes that 06/07 le year, which isn't great (though infinity times better than Joffrey's 17/18 totals).
But Oberto made his defense work through hustle and guile.
Drawing Charges.
You might all remember a big time charge drawn in the final minutes of game 4 against Cleveland to seal the le, at least that's coming to mind. I could be wrong.
Oberto that regular season drew 31 charges, good for 30th in the league, and if factored per 36, would have placed higher.
So good defense isn't just blocks, it can be charges drawn.
How many charges has Joffrey drawn?
According to sites like NBA.com and nbaMiner this year:
0.0
at least he stands for the anthem
Have you seen this: https://forums.realgm.com/boards/vie...?f=6&t=1664084
If you aren't that OP, it's kind of ed up.
Hopefully because he doesn't leave his seat during the games.
Fatty Meals has more blocks than JoLOL??
I don't post on realgm. It's not the first time people take material or at least cues from this board and pass it off as their own.
It is what it is.
Or maybe just great minds think alike.
