OK. Let's start with the facts. Losing to the Lakers sucked. They are one of the worst teams in the West, and they made the Spurs look like chumps in the fourth quarter.
Yes, the Spurs are beat up and scrambling for rotations that work...but that's not an excuse for the team coughing up the ball 21 times and floating passes to the Lakers in the 4th quarter.
Fortunately, the team is back at home where they have been spectacular, so hopefully that will help them to stabilize against a Denver Nuggets team who are trying to put themselves in the mix of the playoff hunt.
Tony, Green, and Kawhi have been upgraded to questionable...which means nothing, apparently, until you see their sneakers hit the hardwood. It would be great to see at least one of them back and looking some semblance of healthy, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
Either way, the team needs to stop ing around and start executing. I don't expect them to be beating the Warriors or Rockets in their current state, but they need to stop giving up these gimme-games if they don't want to fall in the bottom end of the playoff bracket. Time to get the back on the winning track and start turning this ship around.

, should be 1/13/18 in the le.
Well, that's the first of many times that will probably happen this year.
If a mod could fix that, that would be greeeat.
Didn't the Dubs lose to the Lakers as well? Seems like they've snuck up on plenty of teams this year. Doesn't help that we have a G-League roster atm
After that “pathetic” comment by Pops, Spurs take this no less than 10 pts. Pop will clear bench at 4th. Go Dpurs Go
The Nuggets are a .500 ball club and have lost 3 straight, with 2 of those losses coming to two of the worst teams in the league (Kings & Hawks). No reason we shouldn't win this one handily, especially coming off of our embarrassing loss last night. Spurs win by double-digits.
They have a chance if these two guys play better:
After that “pathetic” performance last night they need to come out on fire!
Not a got thread.
I'm getting a bad feeling Murray might have a case of the "Nando De Colo" w/ his inability to finish at the basket.
Robert Johnson sang he had “ hounds On My Trail.” We’ve got “T-wolves On Our Trail.” If we want to at least keep our third spot, we need a win!
If everyone but Gay plays Spurs win. If Kawhi + anyone else is out, Nuggets win.
With the Warriors having a deeper bench and as we have the older team, with constant injuries, I would actually prefer to play them in the semis, rather than the WCF, TBH.
Spurs blowout if Parker and Murray are the only point guards that see the court
Love the classic blue reference.
Now, I want the Spurs to have "Smokestack Lightning" tonight.
I'd always prefer to go as far as possible in the playoffs. You can't discount the amount of experience the young guys gain going deeper into the playoffs.
Typos in le? Don't need to worry about that when Batmanu makes thread-professionalism
Home game .... Spurs win
It's games like these that make no sense for KL to play.... this game don't mean i'd day rest him till after ASG
happens. Don't worry, the world will keep spinning.
Hopefully the munchkin lineup stops... but I am sure we will see lots of it again.
You can't sacrifice all your defense hoping the scoring from this group will make it worthwhile.
SA Express News media:
Pop somehow transformed the Turd Towers into the Lame Lineup.
