Prime, not Netflix
Amazon Prime...not Netflix.
SciFi based on Philip stories. Each episode is a different story...like the Black Mirror format.
Watched the first two last night.
The reviews I saw were mixed but I thought the first two episodes were pretty good. They're well made and have recognizable actors in them.
Neither of the ones I saw were as good as the best Black Mirror episodes but I enjoyed them.
Anyone else trying this?

Prime, not Netflix
Damn...you're right. Thanks.
Sounds interesting. Might download it.
Just ran a quick search on this. Lots of big name actors attached to it. Definitely will check it out. Thanks OP.
I'm 3 episodes in... I want to like these, but man, they're poorly made. The casting is great, the source material is great, but something about the editing or direction of each of them just feels off. And they all seem to have a Cinemax-level sex scene that's distractingly bad.
I don't think they're poorly made at all. I do think that some are a bit long for their story. And yes...agree about the token sex scenes. They are out of place and not necessary to the stories. Although they haven't had a sex scene in the last 4 or 5.
Of the 8. I'd say there were 4 that I really enjoyed. The rest were OK. But the endings in a couple were let downs.
Strange that it seems they altered the order of them. All the review websites and IMDB have a different order than what Prime shows online. Looks like Prime moved the two with the highest ratings to the front.
Yeah I was gonna download them but after seeing the user rating reviews for each episode, they seem mediocre.
Nothing but 5s and 6s.
I think you'd be surprised. You should at least give Real Life and the Hoodmaker a shot.
Poorly executed, and I'm a huge huge fan of tha PKD. For one, people gonna compare it to Black Mirror, which may have even influenced the production. Bad move.
Saw the first two, very lackluster. Couldn't bring myself to watch more.
Episode 3 has Brian Freaking Cranston and still manages to look like a straight-to-DVD /SyFy dud.
I couldn't make it through one. Got bored.
Yeah...that was by far the worst one.
Sorry SpursforSix the ST reviews are in.
Cranston was the reason I thought about watching it.
I'm in the middle of reading A Scanner Darkly. Forgot about that movie Prob have to revisit the movie.
Robert Downey Junior was taking jobs back then for a nickel
But muh review.
Same though. I checked it out due to the casting. Cranston, Buscemi, Greg Kinnear, Vera Farmiga, Terrence Howard. The acting is great from top to bottom.
But of the top 3 episodes, Howard is the only one involved. And as I said, Cranston's is the worst.
But anyway...I can lead the horses to water.
I'll end up watching the last two tonight.
