It's a waste of money. I'd be all for taking the cost of the wall and instead using it to prosecute those who hire illegals so we could attack illegal immigration not just at the border but in the nation as a whole, but Trump and the GOP don't want that since it would actually work.
My door fills the entire frame and locks. If I didn't have a door, I certainly wouldn't spend $20 billion to stand a deck of cards in front of the open doorway.

McConnell promised a vote on Collins-Nelson, a bill to lower Obamacare premiums, before the end of 2017
Later in December, Collins let McConnell slide on that promise, and she vowed to introduce legislation in 2018, with no specific promise from the majority leader to champion it.

GOP faces another vote on this in 3 weeks, with less bargaining power.
