You must hate your front door too. And locks. Locks are bad.

Republicans caved on everything!
Democrats caved!
Some Democrat President is going to have a great "Tear Down This Wall" moment thanks to Daffy Donald's re ed priorities.
It's a waste of money. I'd be all for taking the cost of the wall and instead using it to prosecute those who hire illegals so we could attack illegal immigration not just at the border but in the nation as a whole, but Trump and the GOP don't want that since it would actually work.
My door fills the entire frame and locks. If I didn't have a door, I certainly wouldn't spend $20 billion to stand a deck of cards in front of the open doorway.

i need professor Chris to explain to me how
a) republicans caved on everything relevant
AND
b) The Dems caved and lost the shutdown fight
Give him time to find another tweet to throw out
Repug white supremacist Gestapo to start ETHNIC CLEANSING of browns on 5 March
White House says it might start deporting DREAMers on March 5

12K+ DACA people to lose DACA protection by then.
Not my fault you conflate everything and get it confused. This isn't quantum physics. Do you really need me to walk you through the timeline/chain of events, or can you not discern for yourself? If it's the former, I wouldn't hold your breath.
Thats a damn good reason for democrats to get serious about negotiating immigration reform coupled with DACA.
Yes. Explain to me how the republicans "caved on everything" and how the dems also "caved"
probably more because of a broken process
govt shutdown.. only in US
This is what happens when you trust Mitch McConnell
McConnell says a lot of things. Then he does whatever he wants.
So the Senate Democrats agreed to vote for a continuing resolution on Monday to fund the government through February 8th, and possibly another continuing resolution on February 8, for the commitment to consider an unidentified immigration bill.
Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) has already cast doubt on the idea of considering an immigration bill before February 8.
McConnell promised a vote on Collins-Nelson, a bill to lower Obamacare premiums, before the end of 2017
Later in December, Collins let McConnell slide on that promise, and she vowed to introduce legislation in 2018, with no specific promise from the majority leader to champion it.
McConnell promised a vote on Alexander-Murray, a bill to stabilize Obamacare markets, before the end of 2017
McConnell also failed to keep this promise, as the legislation did not get added to the tax bill and was not passed separately in 2017.
McConnell promised to bring a DACA bill to the Senate floor in January
Yet McConnell did not promise to bring the bipartisan DACA bill to the Senate floor — he said it was his intention to begin consideration of a DACA bill long as the government does not shut down on February 8, the date that the new continuing resolution expires.
McConnell promised the Republican tax plan would not raise taxes on anyone in the middle class
“I misspoke on that,” McConnell told the New York Times. “You can’t guarantee that absolutely no one sees a tax increase,
McConnell promised to honor Senate tradition on judicial nominees
When Barack Obama became president, McConnell sent a letter to him, which was shared with Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT), then chair of the Senate Judicary Committee. Leahy said the letter stated
“that the Republican Conference expected the blue slip policy to be observed, ‘even-handedly and regardless of party affiliation.'”
in 2017, the first year of President Trump’s first term, McConnell did away with the blue slip rule. He told the Weekly Standard that the GOP would now treat blue slips “as simply notification of how you’re going to vote, not as an opportunity to blackball.”

The White House cast doubt on the premise of McConnell’s promise. Even if the compromise legislation passed the Senate, and somehow also passed the House,
a White House spokesperson said Trump would not sign it.
Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR) flatly dismissed the idea that McConnell can be trusted on issues like this.

Trash, McConnell, ALL Repugs, are slimebags whose "words", "promises" are empty air.
typically-spineless Dem Schumer. McConnell, Trash, Ryan gonna kill DACA.
The ethnic cleansing of browns is and will be UnPresidnted
Boots rejoice.
lol Trump
cute earmuffs
Democrats got what they wanted. CHIP re-authorized for 6 years, removing it as a hostage, and another crack at DACA.
GOP faces another vote on this in 3 weeks, with less bargaining power.
Be interesting to see what happens.
Please explain how the GOP has less bargaining power.
They don't have re-funding CHIP to negotiate with. That is now off the table.
dudes like that are so ing pathetic. what has this world come to? and those women are making a case to respect them anymore than they are now. stay classy you ing loons.
So what bargaining power do the Dems have? Will they shut the government down again? Be my guest.
And what do you think the Dems would have done if CHIP was not in the last deal - continue with the shutdown?
He's the type of dude that is ing your wife while you work to buy her a purse.
