    I've never felt 100% sure he was going to re-up when the time comes to sign an extension. Assuming he doesn't... what's his worth healthy?

    Paul George, Klay, Beal + pick, Clarkson + Randle + pick. Basically top 10 NBA talent level


    But at this point not quite LeBron/Durant/Westbrook/Giannis level due to the injury risk. But teams would still make a of a gamble on him. Especially teams that are like us, with no real shot at a ring.

    Tell me why we couldn't get Embiid or Simmons. Kawhi has been to 2 finals, won a ring, finals MVP, 2 DPOYs and proven he can shut down LeBron (and earlier Chimpbrook) in the process. Then he damn near went Nash-esque 50-40-90 the next year and averaged close to 30. Then he was single handedly beating the only team that matters right now in the WCF until they did the sweep the leg. Embiid has a nice catch phrase and Simmons' future is bright as but neither have the proof that Leonard has behind his name.

    Just get a Top 3 pick. Going to need a rookie contract until LMA, Mills, and Gasol's horrendous contracts expire. Then go all out in 2022.

    The LMA deal is not an albatross - it’s fair value for a guy who coaches put third at front court All Star voting. Gasol has been worth every dime this year but future years are scary.

    Mills though? That’s ugly.

    I wouldn’t touch Beal with a 10 foot pole. Talented enough, but not nearly as good as he thinks he is and there is a lot of smoke around his at ude and locker room issues.
