one can see the potential he has... the hustle plays he makes. He has the will to win... can't shoot well and stuff, still has a lot to learn to control the game etc that is veteran stuff.. but his raw talent is amazing.

Murray trained with LeBron in Cleveland during the draft off season and they keep in touch and Green was teamates with LeBron at one point in Cleveland.

Lebron has known Murray since he was in high school. He is also signed to Kluth Sports. Spurs players are allowed to have friends that play on other teams.

Cavs are a horribly undisciplined team.


Maybe the plan for next year is Manu retires, Tony becomes the second unit playmaker and Patty slides over to mini=2 guard.

I think so... unless they trade him, Patty is going to be the bench 2, like he has always been in reality. Spurs should never have overpaid though.

If they can't retain some of the young guys from this season on his account it is going to be from me.

Spurs have had terrific defense the last 3 games for the most part, especially lineups featuring Kyle and Murray... but they have had trouble scoring.

IMO the guys are hungry but young guys are going to have trouble being consistent. Murray has raw talent though.

Also, who knows? There have absolutely been no trade rumors whatsoever, but guys careers are on the line regardless if the team is struggling and unable to recover. I think if Dejounte didn't show life this season next summer Spurs had to do something.... so glad for him that he came in aggressive.
