So who overpays for Cousins?
I'm sure he will light up the Cowboys secondary too
Game manager traded during State Of The Union Address.
I wish my Niners had never got rid of the guy, he's a good QB. Which is what most NFL QB's are, no no not a GREAT QB....obviously, but just how many of them are out there?
On top of that, they just gave Alex a $71 million extension. And they traded Kendall Fuller, an elite young cornerback on a rookie deal. Holy , this is an unmitigated disaster for the Redskins.
You're a funny little guy. You give all that then say....Derek Carr is better than Russell Wilson, ha~~~~~
Carr (career)
comp% 61.3....Wilson 64.0
4000 yard seasons 0..Wilson 17 yards away from...3
Most TD in a season 32....Wilson 34 twice (almost three times as many TD;'s as INT's)
QB rating 87.5.....Wilson 98.3
Won't even talk about the HUGE difference in running.
I think the Cardinals overpay....iirc Palmer retiring clears up tons of cap space and they can’t risk pissing Fitzgerald off with a QB.
2 overrated QBs but chiefs win by grabbing Fuller and a 3rd rounder. Redskins always find a way to remain mediocre.
stil salty about rg3
Damn the skins are almost as stupid as the Browns
redskins completely botched this situation by not signing cousins 2 years ago or even last summer
now they downgrade at QB (while still paying 20+ mil) with a 4 year commitment AND gave up assets
wonder where cousins ends up tbh... jaguars/broncos are the obvious choices where he can have a good team around him. minnesota would be a great spot, but they'll probably stick with somebody in-house
cleveland can throw a load of money at him, has some weapons with Gordon/Coleman, Joe Thomas will be back at least for this year to man the blind side, and they have two picks in the top 4 (saquon barkley)... so i think that's a sleeper candidate
i dont see him going to buffalo/jets
It's completely mind-boggling. Who the is making these decisions? None of this makes sense.
they didnt trust him with a limited body of work. i get that. the first franchise tag made sense for him to prove it.
the second tag was a formality, but they should have been able to sign him to a deal last summer. back to back seasons of solid play should have been enough to convince them.
Cardinals is the best option for him (Cousins) and the team, they still have a chance with David Johnson and Fitz still on the team, but that division is going to be a nightmare assuming the Niners keep Jimmy
Snyder and especially Bruce Allen are some of the worst managers in football
So Cousins will be the ad nauseam topic this off season for sure. But damn the Redskins are providing comical relief when attention is focused on Minneapolis.
