Will Hunting.. monosylab1k...tell me about Malcolm Butler. Apparently DeAndre Hopkins is trying to recruit him to come to Houston. Houston has loads of cap space and the secondary was awful last year, so he'd get playing time if he earned it. Not sure how much he's going to want, but is he worth a long term deal?

He was pretty mediocre this year but the team treated him like ...in 2015 and 2016 he played at an elite level.

The Saints went after him hard last offseason and he wanted to come apparently but he was a restricted free agent. Interesting to see how the Saints approach him this offseason.

He’s not worth the price he’ll command, but he’s a solid corner who Bill treated like for whatever reason. If he wasn’t benched Pats fans would be celebrating 6 tbh.

I don't really mind overpaying for him tbh. Houston has the money to do it and desperately needs help in the secondary.

FWIW ex Charger Nick Hardwick now has radio show on local 1360. He said his sauses said Butler was out toking and did break curfew.
He did give some hints about his sause saying it was local MN law enforcement who leaked.

Texans reportedly close to getting extensions done with Clowney and Mercilus. Now they just need to keep everyone healthy.

It’s been time to fire him. I think the disease though is McNair. Never makes the right move when needed

I thought they might have stumbled upon something last season with the offense, but he changed it again and it right back to the same hot garbage it has been for years

    Indeed. Predictable offense.

It’s time to blow the team up. You have all your weapons on both sides of the ball, fully healthy and you’re 0-3. It’s not just coaching but the talent is obviously not what people think. It’s panic time

Actually coaching is 90% of the problem. The other 10 is the offensive line.

I don’t know man. I think coaching plays a large role, but I also think that you have to really look inside at an 0-3 team that has their weapons.
