The Ags may have passed on that one.

If we could somehow pull in K. Green as well.

You can see it in his pictures, but Inside Texas confirmed Jones took an unofficial visit to UT yesterday.
He already plans on returning for an official.
Will he play qb or wr?
QB first, but you can easily see what a great WR he is.
He will have two more years at LT to get even better.
I believe the staff will still push hard for Hornsby.

TE Jared Wiley (Temple)

On WR Peyton Powell of Odessa Permian...I only read his name about two weeks ago since he was a total unknown going into the Dallas Opening regional.
He had zero offers that day.
He scored well there and started picking up a few offers, and then Ohio State offered recently.
Holland from 24/7 already put in a UT crystal ball for WR Langston Anderson of Midlothian Heritage.
He also put in a Stanford one for WR Elijah Higgins.
Quotes from TE Jared Wiley of Temple after his commitment to UT (24/7):
“Home is where the heart is,” Wiley said. “My gut and my heart told me to go there. Texas is definitely heading up. Here in the next two or three years, they’ll definitely be playing for national championships.”
“The fact that every coach was out there (at Junior Day) to greet me stood out,” Wiley said. “They do things a little better. They really made me feel at home. I loved every experience that I had down there.”
“We’ve (Wiley and Coach Warehime) gotten really close,” Wiley said. “We have a phone call about twice a week. At the spring game, I got to meet his family. They are all great people. He’s a great coach, too.”
