It's because the qb situation is the worst it's ever been for Kliff going even back to his UH coaching days plus with the loss of Cantrell and Coutee, no consistent reliable wide receivers to lean on.

O Line looks good and Tech has a good stable of running backs.

Just playing to strength. Just weird.
My next question was if it had to do with Carter being the QB.

I think it's a coin toss right now between Carter and Duffey.

Duffey has the potential to be an RG3 but his head isn't there yet. Carter is more ready as a play action pocket passer but has limited physical skills. Bowman just arrived so I'd imagine unless he just blows everyone away during the summer that he'll redshirt.

So boiling down. ....if the season started today it'd be Carter. But if Duffey cleans up his game during the summer and I'll wager that he will, then he'll be the starter on day 1.

Stockton never really lived up to the expectations, especially after a great freshman year, but I'll miss watching him explode out of the backfield. I hope he latches on to some NFL team

I thought this was a commitment but it is not. It's his way of announcing all offers from schools.

Orlando's going to be one of a good head coach for someone in the very near future. He just puts of that vibe to me and he seems to click with all his players, especially when it comes to the teaching aspect. My .02 cents anyways.

    Great video texas4ever.
    My points of interest:

Brandon Jones becoming a real safety, great news. He took bad angles, tackled poorly, just got beat quite a bit last year.

Graham being to play in the middle is really important. We got some really solid guys on the outside line.

Got lucky LSU let Roach go.

Orlando described perfectly what happens to many football players using Hager as an example. There is no lack of will, it’s a matter of their body being able to go again after too many hard plays. Being able to continue to go really hard late in a game is good conditioning along with genetics of endurance. Some people just can’t perform at a continuous high level no matter what they do. Some gifted athletes (the so called big motors) have natural genetic endurance. Imo it can’t be taught or merely conditioned into. And imo, you find this endurance in guys that often don’t look so muscular. This can only be seen in games as well, you never know. It’s not the guy that can do the most reps with the weights. It’s not the guys who show it in practice. A game with all the excitement and all the situational anxiety really illustrates the talent. There are no Nike camp scores for this ability.

So many guys holding 4 fingers up that find out their legs are gone...

Per 24/7, Wake Forest grad transfer WR Tabari Hines currently has Oregon as his leader.

He will officially visit USC this weekend and they don't expect him to sign with UT at this time.

his biggest weakness in high school reared its ugly head in college as well; he was never that good between the tackles. in high school, all he had to do was reach the edge and with that 4.3 speed he was gone. if he has any NFL game at all it would only be as a 3rd down back or special teams player.

    Spot on assessment

Ability to see holes just not there. But in open space he's gone.
