OL Ricky Stromberg of Tulsa, OK told The Football Brainiacs that Coach Hand visited him recently.
He plans on camping with UT in June.

i'm sure they will. UT has a nice, solid reputation with steele and i know some UT coaches were out there a couple of weeks ago (also looking at xavier player and some other prospects). the thing with jones is that he wasn't a starter last season because of the depth in the secondary. i'm looking forward to seeing him this season. i'll also keep an eye out for a san angelo central transfer (LB), some of the younger RBs that show promise and the development of the sop re QB. i take it that jimbo fisher got wind of steele and judson and the pool of talent in some of the SA area schools and has decided to be more engaged down here.

Rumors are everywhere right now, but the talk is UT is getting at least three public commitments before the week is up.
TE Jared Wiley of Temple should be one on Saturday.
With B. Young trending away at QB in 2020 for Texas, it wouldn't surprise me if they gave Card the green light to commit.
....And if it is Card. I would imagine Herman and Co see this as a 2 QB class, because Hornsby is a definite take.
Card has always been an outstanding athlete to me that has the potential to be an outstanding QB.
He's a good bet to be the 2020 commitment, but I think the staff would take him whenever because he's a safe take at QB who can also play WR very well.
Per 24/7, Coach Hand will be visiting OL Tyler Johnson and OL Javonne Shepherd today.
Also, Coach Washington should be seeing DT DeMarvin Leal.
The Football Brainiacs are now saying the 2020 commitment may wait until Friday.
No definite commitments today, apparently.
OL Chris Akporoghene (IMG Academy - Bradenton, FL)

Texas should do better than they do. The big school in football crazy Texas and they pretty much suck. Street & Smith has them ranked 23.
There's a funk smell in this thread. Hopefully it doesn't last long
24/7 reporting OL Tyler Johnson of Conroe Oak Ridge is no longer set on making a late decision.
He could make his commitment soon.
I know, I'm taking the bait.
Aggy is the poster child for "should do better than they do". Easily the richest school in the SEC, second only to Texas when in the Big 12. When was the last time they won their conference? How about 20 years ago.
Should Texas be doing better? Yes, but the fact is Texas is still light years ahead of the Ags.
Lurker, haven't posted in awhile.....
Vito, dude you have it soooo wrong dude. The Aggies are so far ahead of us.....they have a bigger stadium, cult like fan following, more passion, proven winner coach, they make more money......and lest I remind you sir.....Jimbo has already brought them the national championship trophy....how soon you longhorn honks forget about Aggie greatness!

technically, that trophy has until 2099 to be validated.
