Per 24/7, the staff is trying to get CB Marques Caldwell of Alvin on campus this weekend for an unofficial visit.
24/7 mentioned Texas was the runner up here, so the staff will attempt to pounce if LSU has a coaching change at the end of the year.
Their DBs coach leaving would be another plus.

SI's Top 100 College Football Players of 2018 (2 Longhorns)
https://www.si.com/college-football/...2018-full-list
I'm guessing SI is going t have Clemson as their #1 since they have 9 top 100 players and 4 in the top 40 and 3 in the top 10.
Bama comes in at 7 in the top 100 with 0 in the top 10.
Georgia 5
Ohio State 4
Oklahoma 1
Okie Lite 1
TCU 2
USC 3
Oregon 4
Aggy 0
Houston 1. #1.
thanks in part to Tom Herman
Fwiw, Dakota Allen should be on the list
yeah, i can't really think of any aggie off the top of my head that would merit top 100 status.
Per 24/7, Leal has Bama and A&M even after his recent visit to Bama last weekend.
Hopefully we have a season worth turning his head, if not, then we move on and find someone else to fill the spot.
Palm trees
I'm going to assume Texas made Demond Demas' top 8 last night, even though he didn't say it was his top 8...
With the coaches away from the office this week and the dead period quickly approaching, the dog days of Summer are upon us.
Per 24/7, 2020 CB Dwight McGlothern of New Caney is transferring to Cedar Hill Trinity Christian.

malcolm is awesome. always makes himself available to the youth in cibolo. he once randomly stopped by dobie high and bought pizza for the whole fricking school.
Inside Texas reporting CB Marques Caldwell had a positive conversation with Coach Washington this weekend, and he'll sit down with his parents this week to decide what he'll ultimately do.
He was supposed to be in Austin on Saturday and some rumors suggest he made it in, but no site has confirmed that and I think they've been told by Caldwell to keep it quiet.
A reminder that today is the first day of the new dead period and that will run through July 24th.
There will be no campus visits by recruits until then, and that's when we should see the annual night camp.
News is going to be slooooooooow.
