Libertarianism is a lot like liberalism or right wing conservatism. You need balance. You can't have EPA type, Greenpeace, Jill Stein regulating cow farts. You can't have your grandpa's GOP with anti gay, balloon budget military, women's place in the house type either. And you can't have the it's my right to do cocaine, everyone should be able to buy anti aircraft missles libertarians either. Austin Petersen, the guy who says no in that video, is that running for Missouri senator as a republican this year. It's not a matter of if but when will he crack the national scene. Amazing guy.
I don't necessarily think they are wrong about driver's license. Your seeing the same thing about concealed permits. Everyone has the right until it's taken away.
Pretty much agree. hard core Libertarians pretty much have to ignore a lot of reality to maintain their delusional ideology.
Government should have checks on it, to be sure, but not having one at all " 'cause taxes r bad" gets you a failed state that no one wants to live in.
liberalism is another name for oligarchy/Repug "conservatism", esp in the main ideas.
the essential point is small govt (so oligarchy can rape, pillage, fleece, screw even more), EXACTLY like the oligarchy has its Repug s implementing already
Where is lib. diff from oligarchy's ideology?
Somalia is still the ultimate libertarian paradise. Completely powerless government, lots of guns, and a free market.
Ill bet it’s a really great place to live.

wait, there are actually libertarians advocating for no traffic laws?
At least they added crosswalks to lull pedestrians into a false sense of security.
Who told you that libertarians have no need for laws? You are making yourself look quite ignorant.
Derp calling anyone else ignorant
Goddamn you're ing stupid
for decades, Europe has used the stop-sign-less protocol "priority on the right" / "priorite au droit".
It's too complicated, like roundabouts, for stupid Americans to master.

Blake or Mono? Not much difference, tbh.
Yeah, its not on the level of your trolls if you know what I'm saying
Politics is win at all costs
too funny
There’s a national community of libertarians that has developed over the last 40 or 50 years, and they’ve never really had a place to call their own. They’ve never been in charge of a nation, or a state, or even a city. And they’ve always really wanted to create a community that would showcase what would happen if they implemented their principles on a broad scale.
So in 2004, a group of them decided that they wanted to take some action on this deficiency, and they decided to launch what they called the Free Town Project. They sent out a call to a bunch of loosely affiliated national libertarians and told everyone to move to this one spot and found this utopian community that would then serve as a shining jewel for the world to see that libertarian philosophies worked not only in theory but in practice. And they chose a town in rural New Hampshire called Grafton that already had fewer than 1,000 people in it. And they just showed up and started working to take over the town government and get rid of every rule and regulation and tax expense that they could.https://www.vox.com/policy-and-polit...ngoltz-hetlingIt turns out that if you have a bunch of people living in the woods in nontraditional living situations, each of which is managing food in their own way and their waste streams in their own way, then you’re essentially teaching the bears in the region that every human habitation is like a puzzle that has to be solved in order to unlock its caloric payload
