Can you insert CIA Pops head receiving those green bombs?
Thank you.
Why would the Spurs tank for a lottery ball? Not like Silverstein doesn't rig sh** anyways.
I'm firmly on board with the Spurs' tank. You guys need to start developing the next superstar for the Clippers to sign once Kawhi gets old.
I’ve been saying it for a few months , the spurs are finished. Kawhi is going to request a trade on the offseason, popovich will quit and focus on team USA, and spurs are will be gasping for air the next 10 years.
This is true. Houston needs someone to overpay their next 2nd tier PG.
hopefully we don't pull a Lakers, tbh... Would suck to have to pull a Roberto and look for tank pics 8+ years in a row...
Hopefully it’s worse and you take 10 years !
Tanking doesn't even help. It just slightly increases the probability of having a slightly higher choice of slightly better draft prospects.
There's definitely a difference between the 23rd pick and the 12th tbh.
It's a crapshoot. Sometimes the 23rd pick ends up being better than the 12th pick, etc.
I’d agree that in the NBA, it really is a crapshoot past a certain pick, but if you’re a ty team with no superstar level talent then having a better chance at a top 3 pick makes a huge difference.
It might make a huge difference.
And tanking just slightly increases the chance of having an opportunity to make that possible difference. I'm just saying it's quite a reach, not an instant solution. Tanking doesn't usually lead to turning a franchise around. A franchise-changing player like Duncan or Lebron only comes around once or twice a generation.
I say tank as well. Don’t bring LM or Kawhi back. It’s a waste of time.
Spurs don't need a franchise-changing player, just some good young talent to offset the TOSBs.
The Spurs have already won 37 games. Poop can't even tank correctly.
If they don't win another outside the Kings game (which is very possible) they still prolly end up with a Top 10 pick. That's damn good considering the cir stances.
I bet they end up winning several more games, getting a mediocre draft pick, and it turns out they weren't really tanking all along, just trying their best and legitimately being terrible.
same here, but dammit I can hope.
