Never going to replace Weiland, that crazy crackhead, but not bad! Always liked the De Leo brothers.
No thanks, pass.
I've heard worst but nothing there that stands out.

There are like five vocalists who could replace Weiland. He’s simply to great a voice and presence.
Layne was the same way. I own Black Gives Way To Blue. But if I know the last time I listened to it. Music Bank, however, I just finished the entire set Sunday.
De Leo bros are great, but Weiland was simply greater.
The reality is that at a certain age, creativity declines. So even if they could replace a singer, chances are that the music isn't going to be anything that we haven't heard already.
Stick a fork in STP. That part of my life died with Scott, tbh.
This new STP song is roadhouse bluesy good i like Deans solo. https://youtu.be/R-jqMrlIZ4A
See all those letters after the last slash? Put those between a [ youtube ] [ /youtube ] bracket (sans spaces) and you get this -
Good song
I guess some people get excited about clones.
Good ol classic rock is on life support. So when i hear something new even if it sounds like a clone i get excited ha
I can see that. A part of me is happy with the new album. And it's good that they're still hitting a certain level / preserving their sound unlike bands like INXS after the death of their singer. I just think it's better for a band to end once an iconic singer is gone.
Nooo.
Often times? Yes.
Always?
Noooo.
ACDC was the first thought that popped in my head. Difficult to come up with others.
meh. I was expecting Core riffs. But 2 or 3 songs have potential. Ill wait for the full songs to pass judgement.
I suppose. But I am pessimistic about STP being a major player going forward, tbh.

They won't be. Mainstream rock is essentially dead.
Yup. Generation of s.
Actually, I've came around on the STP album. It hits the standard. Maybe I was never a big enough STP fan in the first place. I always liked them though; went and saw them once or twice back in the day (which is why I don't feel SW is completely replaceable).
