The history of the 14th pick has no ties to the 14th pick in 2018.

Tweets and threads like this make me laugh.

Guys drafted in the upper lottery are scrubs more often that not..tbh... Dont’t know why people are so infatuated about picking in that range.

Very mediocre all-time 14th pick class. I guess if the team was solid and just looking for a decent role player then yay!

I didn't expect a lot of great players, but that list is spectacularly ty. Basically Peja and a bunch of trash.

    It's a bit of a crap shoot
    http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-draf...3/2013/11/20/0

10 years of picks stopping at 2013 to allow for analysis

    2003 to 2013 picks 11 through 20
    100 picks
    27 starters
    5 All stars
20 end of the bench/DNP in NBA

The odds of getting someone to help immediately is low.

Marcus Morris has been pretty solid too. Not as good as Peja was, but certainly better than anyone else on that list.

I never liked Mo Taylor and was never fooled by his empty stats. He had all the tools, but was too lazy to get rebounds, play defense or stay in shape, and his at ude was terrible. Not paying him big money was one of the only smart moves Elgin ever made. Al Thornton, on the other hand - I actually had hope for him until it became quickly apparent that he was just a selfish, one-dimensional chucker who was never going to learn how to play team ball.
