3 weeks to be reevaulated does not mean 3 weeks to return.
if yall don't win the le this year ..

Rockets won't have a better opportunity than this before your star players contracts get bloated and you lose the depth that's been the key propelling this team-- not the mention the only way is down for Paul from here on out..

Remember when Mark Jackson made Manu’s potential last moment at the AT&T all about how classy Steph was because he stepped off the free throw line for 3 seconds?

I think Mark Jackson is still talking about it.

If the Thunder had Robertson I could have seen them upset Warriors without or with a banged-up Curry..If Steph is out, that could be a 7-game series if the match up happens in the first round..

Other than that, i think Dubs beat any team without him bar Houston..

Not looking good for Curry. I honestly don't see him coming back this season. He's already side-lined for 3 weeks minimum and Warriors are likely going to be walking on ice over the injury to try and prevent it from happening it again.
Let's hope Curry has the same doctors as Kawhi.

Medial Collateral Ligament Injury of the Knee

Grade 2 tears vary in symptoms and therefore they are broken down further to grades 2- (closer to grade 1) and 2+ (closer to grade 3). Obviously, this means that a grade 3 tear is a complete rupture of the MCL.

    Grade 2 / 3
For a grade 2/3 injury-treatment it is important that the ends of the ligament are protected and left to heal without continually being disrupted. One should avoid applying significant stresses to the healing structures until three to four weeks after the injury to ensure that the injury can heal properly.

The rehabilitation for a non-operative treatment can be split into four phases:
Phase one is from one to two weeks. Phase one consists of controlling the swelling of the knee by applying ice for 15 minutes every two hours (first two days).
Starting at week three phase two begins. The aims for the range of motion are the same as in phase one. Progress to 20 minutes of biking.
Phase three starts from week five. Major goal for this phase: full weight-bearing on the injured knee. Discontinue the use of a brace when ambulating with full weight bearing is possible and there is no gait deviation. The range of motion has to be fully achieved and had to be symmetrical with the not injured knee.
Six weeks after injuring the knee, phase four can begin...The aim of the therapeutic exercises is more focused on sport specific or daily movements...The patient may start running again at a comfortable pace

So if he has a phase 2-, he is looking at ~3 weeks if he is a fast healer (which is just in time for playoffs round 1). If he has a phase 2+, he is looking probably at 4-6 weeks, which puts him into round 2 of the playoffs. And if he was Kawhi, he would be out for the season and next season, and demand a trade.

For Kawhi, that would be 3 years, tbh.

I wouldn’t put it past OKC to strategically drop to 7th.
it would be entertaining... go OKC.

He's still on schedule to be 100% by the WCF, which is all that really matters anyway (though getting to it should obviously be more arduous, which could cost them in it). In a sense, it's a win-win for them. Go on to win the WCF and instead of the pseudo adversity they've desperately tried to create this season, for the first time they'll have overcome some of the real thing. Go on to lose the WCF and they have an excuse at the ready.

Rockets-Warriors is debatable in terms of which is the lesser of two evils, but right now, it's just nice to see those arrogant pricks squirm.

3 weeks to be reevaluated does not mean 3 weeks to return.
Agreed, its becoming more common to teams to say that instead of like 4-6 weeks. Rudy was reevaluated in to weeks but ended up missing more than a month after that.

Watch them luck out and get an injured team that have no reason to be in the playoffs i.e. the Spurs.

Pelicans or Clippers would be easier for them IMO..Spurs would lose, obviously, but they've been playing them decently..

As long as they avoid Utah, OKC or Portland, it won't affect them at all..

They don't need to tank. They need only to show up.
