I've seen what I expected.. More of the same FC formula, back to it's roots after that POS melee garbage in Primal. I've also seen the PC sites raving over the performance, especially for a Ubisoft game at launch

I too am waiting on CPY to bless us

I still have plenty of time to wait on CPY, Ass Creed Origins is still fun, and I haven't got the new Valley of the Kings DLC yet either

Valley of the Kings was kickass, tbh... much better than the first DLC...

I've got me FC5 anyways... not that terrible, and actually somewhat of a departure from the usual FC mechanics so far...

No more towers to open up the map... heck, they actually make you get up on a tower at the start but an NPC tells you "I'm not going to have you climbing every tower in the county"

Also, because that's gone, quests now open up more organically, as you meet people on the roads, etc...

Only have a couple of hours in...

Oh, so you mean they departed in a good way..

Yeah the tower mechanics has become somewhat of a meme in games now.. It works in Assassin's Creed if they force you to climb a landmark puzzle, but do we really need that in a shooter? Glad they phased it out

Yeah, it's nice. Before you would open up the map and basically get a checklist of to do... it was like a job... this is a nice improvement, IMO.

Too early into the game yet to know more good/bad things.

Meh, what matters is if you enjoy it or not. I'm about 3-4 hours into the game. Story is good so far, i actually liked the opening of the game a lot, and a lot more than FC4. like Nono said, the not having to unlock a bunch of towers bull is nice. but ive been enjoying it thus far

Everyone s on Far Cry 4, but I liked it a lot more than Far Cry 3. As good as Michael Mando was playing Vaas in FC3, I liked the mountain setting so much better in FC4. Plus the Shangri-La missions were much better in FC4 than the hallucination missions in FC3 IMO.

They deserved the money for that one... even if they sacked Kojima afterwards

Tbh, Konami was the main reason why I skipped out on MGS5. The only MGS game I dont own in one way or another.

I'm super glad that stain Metal Gear Solid Survive went down in flames.

Having to pay for more save slots.

But it was a challenge too, go to every tower to discover the map and then the colonel assassination missions, so much fun, I had the ¨skidrow¨version so I could only complete 98% of the game, to get the other 2 weapons you must play Online.

But since the game was so huge the only drawback was you cant repeat missions, once you did it you cant never go back.
There was some mystical missions were you are some kind of spiritual hindu guru and you have a tiger helping you.

The change of mechanics is welcome anyway, no more hunting to get weapons makes the game lighter and more ¨arcadey¨ to me, also the towers and other stuff, sounds great a little variation.

Now talking about variation a new gen Burnout wont hurt either, too bad EA makes Criterion develop lots of stupid NFS.

Played about 15 mins of that. in boring. If it was released in 1989, it'd be below average at best. Now with every fat millennial pining for "nostalgia" and anything with pixel art being bukkake'd, it gets praised.

The other meme in open world games is fetch quests.. Story alone isn't enough for side quests.. they need to create a new gameplay mechanic for each mission, which isn't too realistic.. GTA does this the best IMO though
