"The towering waterslide, which was certified in 2014 by the*Guinness Book of World Records*as the tallest in the world, was only in operation for six months.
Prosecutors have alleged that Jeffrey Henry, who co-owned Schlitterbahn Waterpark, and other employees of the water park attempted to hide from investigators do ents detailing at least 13 people's injuries on the Verrückt waterslide leading up to Schwab's death.
Henry was arrested March 26 and has also been charged with second-degree murder. Tyler Miles, the former operations director of the Schlitterbahn Waterpark, was arrested prior to Henry and charged with 20 felony counts, including*involuntary manslaughter.
Schlitterbahn Waterpark has denied it hid do ents detailing previous injuries or operated the slide unsafely.
"The allegation that we operated, and failed to maintain, a ride that could foreseeably cause such a tragic accident is beyond the pale of speculation," the water park said in a statement last week. "The accusation that we withheld information or altered evidence is completely false."

Aw just put a net over it. Nothing bad could possibly happen if we do that.
Weeeeeeeeee!
terbarn is gonna be shut down, isn't it?
They named the ride after one of the tiest zombie maps ever for CoD.
Nothing like a little decapitation to beat that summer sun
tbh
black ops had the best maps imho. kino der toten is still my favorite. five, ascention, call of the dead were all fun. i still never learned moon... was too complicated
Moon is hard AF but fun. I enjoy Kino and could get to level 30 easily on Der Reise. Only got to play ascension a little bit at buddies house since I didn't have the map pack.
i used to be stingy with map packs, but for BO, MW3, and BO2 i ended up buying the season passes. i would say that outside of having buddies over to play madden or somethin, COD made up of close to 90% of my gaming during college years. so it was worth it
kino is probably the easiest map ever to go solo... you could go infinite if you dont get bored. but i always played with a full group of 4 for maximum challenge. would always go for ballistic knife and crossbow and just run around being a team medic (after upgrading both, of course)
good times
8/10 boutons impersonation
Guy pretty much ed himself with his own comments about the slide
Henry called the ride, "dangerous, but it's a safe dangerous now." He said Schlitterbahn "is a family water park, but this isn't a family ride. It's for the thrill seekers of the world, people into extreme adventure."
He should've specified 10 year old extreme adventurers
Maybe his lawyer will plead that he has affluenza
is that the actual incident and ride discussed? holy !
i remember being scared less, as a kid, when i'd ride those stupid toaster strudel hard raft things at splash town and think my fate would be similar as this gif/vid.
That's a test before they put the net over it.
I believe a net support is what decapitated that poor kid.
wow! that's just nuts and especially nuts thinking a band-aid like a net would solve all problems with that death trap.
They also put a 400 (or 450?) pound weight requirement on the raft to keep it from taking air.
I don't think that weight requirement was met during the ride in question.
LOL at that test also. Seems like there are some equations that deal with mass, velocity, etc. that should have resulted in "not even close" before they started testing.
It's like there idea was "hey, we'll just keep sending stuff down until it stays on the track".
Saw this; thought about making a thread. Trying the guy for murder is politics. The govt. has to sign off on these rides.
