Pop has lost his edge, when the losses dont eat away at you anymore and you are just along for the ride, then the fire is gone. Pop is washed and needs to retire. But at the moment, he is better than most possible replacements, sadly enough. Also, he is basically untouchable, he wont be fired and will leave on his own terms, he has earned that from his past success, even if it was mostly Duncan.
