A white graduate student at Yale called police on a black graduate student who had fallen asleep in a common area of their campus residence

Lolade Siyonbola posted two videos of Monday's encounter on her Facebook page, including part of a conversation with the white student who told her she was calling police after finding her on a couch in the room at Yale's Hall of Graduate Studies on the New Haven campus.

After questioning Siyonbola for more than 15 minutes, police confirmed she was a Yale student who lived in the building and then left.

Police told her the encounter was prolonged because her name was not spelled correctly in a database of student information.

Two weeks after a white woman called the police on a black family for setting up a charcoal grill in an Oakland, California, park, area

residents threw a massive cookout in the same park, flooding the area with music, food, dancing and unity.

Videos taken at Lake Merritt on Thursday show people jumping rope, picnicking and even doing the electric slide while enjoying the public space.

A couple of years back i was house sitting for a friend of mine and taking care of his dog in alamo heights, when all of sudden the neighbors call the cops on me for having a small gtg bbq. It was just me and my girl, her cousin with her bf and a 2 year old. The old white racist accused us of playing loud music, pot smoking, underage drinking.

The truth is we were just drinking Michelob, smoking cigars, making some burgers and her cousin had her iphone with those small portable bose speakers. All of us were older than 21.

Imo they feel threatened by blacks and Mexicans getting theirs. In other words: getting to their economic level. Remember we have low iq guys were not supposed to reach their level.
