    Cable news has its usefulness.

    They have tons of people on the ground to get a preliminary view of immediate cir stances.
    For immediate cir stances, they are valuable. Election info, valuable, if one just needs current numbers.

    When it comes to analysis of a certain situation, they get wildly speculative simply because no one really knows. It takes time for events to go forward until ramifications can be fully understood. What is sad is that a month or a year after a particular event occurs, and we have a better hold on what the ramifications are, people don't care as it's not "breaking". Hater thrives on the aforementioned concerning complex international events.






    The TV news and twitter have made this into entertainment because it's very easy and one can be very sloppy. "We" eat it up. We were asking, "did the president have a good month?" Now, its, "did the president have a good hour?"
    The clown in office thrives off of entertainment and compulsive behavior. It fits. Plus the fairly immediate lies are very easy to check.
