mancini is not bad tbh, he wasn't great at managing rotations long term but he was decent in getting his players enthusiastic and he played young players .. two things that are imo key for italy right now tbh.
Would've picked another coach (conte tbh), but mancini ain't bad. , after ventura, anybody would do a better job
Ancelotti was the leading candidate.
