Not even if Hayward and Kyrie were playing. I don't see a Duncan or a Kawhi on that roster to make him look good.

Lol no..it isn't even necessarily about his coaching, it's more related to his roster-building approach..

The key to this Boston team is that they don't have a single defensive liability in their rotation..they're attacking Love and Korver all night, but Cleveland doesn't have any mismatches to exploit..

If you replaced him NOW, they would still be the same team..if you replaced Kerr with Pop in 2015, they would have never turned into the GOAT team..

Imagine Pop letting Curry shimmy or Draymond talk trash

The first time Curry shimmied, he would have been traded for Kirk Hinrich.

Hinrich would average 30/15 in today’s nba.

You mean the same Pop who sent Lebron packing twice including dismantling the super team in Miami by a record margin, using scrubs? Is this the same guy who swept the Lakers the last time they bothered to show their faces in the playoffs, by a record margin? That guy?

    Hard to say.

It doesn't matter. The ECF is just a contest to see who gets the honor of being embarrassed on a bigger stage.

Replace Dwayne Casey with Greg Pop and did the Raptors get that far?

We could go on and on.

This Celtic team is a much more Pop team than this year's Spurs team was, it would have been a much more natural fit.

It's easier to build a good roster with less limitations when you have 2 lottery picks still in your rotation. We haven't had 1 for 21 years.

Of course they do. People act like Stevens made a high school team the 97 Bulls. All of the Celtics are high draft picks that are hongry af

Stevens is obviously a good coach but that team is a lot more talented than people make it out to be.

They don't have much high-end talent, but their overall roster is very talented, considering they are 1 of only 2 teams in the league without any liabilities on either side(GS being the other)..

What good are talents if you don’t know how to utilize it?

Stevens excels on what many has lacked. Technical knowledge and the ability to sell it to his players. He has plugged various players in his system with great success. The proof is in the pudding.

No argument. Just feels like there's a narrative that Stevens is making chicken salad out of chicken when he actually has chicken salad to work with. He deserves a lot of credit for making the Celtics compe ive a few years ago when they weren't so talented and he deserves credit now, but he has a deep, talented and versatile roster at his disposal now.
