Lost respect for Kendrick. It's some low-down to try to embarrass someone for liking your music. Butt-hurt black folks don't own the word. They don't have a right to tell anyone else what to say or think.
Racism didn't come from a word, and it doesn't live there now. It comes from action. A white person saying the words while holding no ill will toward black folks is much better than someone who says all the right things then acts like you don't belong in the same neighborhood at them. When I saw GZA perform a few years back, during "I got Ya Back" The whole crowd was singing and he clearly said "It's the PEOPLE in front, they be pullin stunts" BC he obviously did not want the sea of white to be saying the N word to him.
So there are ways around it.
