    sons these s are arguing that france won in '98 because it had an easier path than brasil, when they absolutely destroyed brasil in the final and had to play tougher games (italy, croatia, paraguay) at basically all stages of the tournament, group included. Homecourt helps and everybody rigs as much as possible, that's reality. The least rigged home court of a big team in the last 40 years is germany '06. Brasil got MASSIVE help in '14 and the rest were either weak help or played in non-contender countries where went down (best korea ).
