But that 2020 ring is forever. While many other franchises are long term investors, the Lakers are day traders expecting immediate returns and will take a short term loss just to keep things interesting for fans. It doesn't always work but they are the NBA bellwether like it or not. Celtics could be up one on you by the middle of June.
...and the kicker? I'd a taken that vs. the Suns. And never looked back at a Celtic #18. The Celtic/Lakers thing is over...UNTIL the Celtics get 18...then MSM will endeavor to resuscitate it. Will they be successful? I don't think so, but, I've been wrong before.
