Not much really is talked about in that article However, I mentioned a couple of days ago that the Spurs really want to make a trade for Tatum if not Brown and other pieces, but if Boston doesn't wanna trade then the Raptors might be a trading partner. I wasn't sure who, but I assume it would be for DeRozan.

Maybe we are planning to showcase him the first month of the season to prove his value and health. Once other teams are reminded of how dominant he is the offers might start flowing back in. There could also be some monster injuries like we saw with Hayward, Cousins, etc. early on. I still think Philly is our best shot if anything happens prior to the season, but right now his value is very down. People need to be reminded that he's a top five player when healthy. This is the most important decision for the Spurs over the next 5-10 years. Pop and RC are under a ton of pressure on this one.
