I guess no one has been stupid enough to say the supermax before you.
That looks like Kawhi reaching over to grab a pen and sign that supermax... *whoosh!* Uncle Robertson grabs Leonard by the wrist and they struggle for a bit. That is until Timmy the White Walker comes through and basically you can just imagine what happened next, I’m sure.
Coming from somebody who compared Kyle Anderson to Paul George... Lol funny.
We know the real trolls in here.
And even called PG a "Super Star".
Even worse "MVP Player"
Leonard signs the supermax if its on the table. That's the big fat carrot the Spurs have and why they are not in a rush to make a trade.
I'm preparing for a massive bout of diarrhea to celebrate in his honor.
Agreed. If Kawhi and his group declined a 5-year/$220,000,0000 deal, props to them for staying true to their word. That’s a ton a money. Even moreso for a player that doesn’t have near the shoe endorsement deal his peers have.
However, I don’t see it being offered at this time.
Why would we offer a supermax at this point if we haven't offered it yet? Does it seem like rewarding a poorly behaving toddler? Then don't expect PATFO to do it, especially given that nothing's changed in Kawhi's behavior, or that of his group. If anything they've become more intransigent. Come on people.
Trade him, resign him, cut him, do something because this is annoying af
Because if they slow play this and he's forced to come to training camp, that means they have a month to begin to repair the relationship (and see if he's not damaged goods). No uncle to hold his hand and pollute the relationship from a distance, with leaks and spin. Just face to face, day in, day out.
Once the initial awkwardness begins to subside and he's back in the swing of things, it's possible things change, thereby paving the way for the offer to be made. If not or he doesn't accept, at that point they'll at least have exhausted all options before having to trade him.
Pretty sure Spurs offer Supermax. I have always felt like they don’t want to, but doing so tomorrow will make it hard for anyone to think spurs have handled this poorly. Kawhi would be faced with a huge decision, and as mentioned, that’s a huge carrot.
What might put a kink in it is any trade clauses that might want to be included or excluded.
They won't be offering the Super Max anytime soon.
He won't let Spurs doctors anywhere near him and they're not just gonna take his word that he's good to go.
he has to pass the physically if he wants to be traded also for his insurance to be covered before he signs a new contract
I think spurs offer the supermax at one point and make leonard group even more bad if they turn it down
spurs front office will look fine if that was public he turned it down then they trade him
Where’s the done deal?
