How funny would it be if Leroid's tendons finally snapped. Oh my goodness gracious.

I predict that this thread will be bumped at your expense.
Do you want to see if you can finally beat me on a ST bet?

Lakers won't be third but they wont be "sneaking in either".
Lakers take 6th seed but like Nola did Blazers, still smoke whoever the they face in round one.
Anything after that is gravy in Year one A.L.
I like Randle for yall.
nice combo/contrast between he and Mirotic plus if Davis sits or is injured he can playmake a bit ...
$1000 bet SA makes the playoffs?
I have no earthly clue...all depends on growth of Ingram. I think Kuzma and Hart will develop into good role players. I have no odea what to expect from Ball, unfortunately

Minnesota at sixth. I don't see it. Young players are no defense playing soft chucker. Teague is garbage. And Jimmy wants out. Wouldn't be surprised at all if they implode mid season

Lakers are hard to peg. They should get in just because of lebron but that team outside of him is unproven young guys and outcast vets for the most part who can't shoot. I could see them anywhere from 4-8.
Im guessing there won't be a lot of separation between the seeds minus GS
Spurs are a fashionable pick to miss the playoffs but the one team that has legit implosion potential is the Wolves. I definitely see Butler getting moved before the trade deadline.
Think Thibs will be on the chopping block if they start slowly..He wasn't the right coach for them from the beginning, but the reality is, it turned out that Minny core was massively overrated..
Spurs and Wolves may both be vulnerable to missing the playoffs, as well as Pelicans and Blazers imo. Thing is you add Denver as a possible playoff team and the Lakers with a good chance on LeBron’s individual talent alone, and you assume no WC playoff team from last season has dropped off enough to not at least be in the playoff conversation, then it’s 10 teams for 8 spots. That’s possibly two teams dropping out of the playoffs from last year if Lakers and Nuggets get in.
Spurs can certainly make the playoffs. But because there will be too many teams fighting for a those playoff spots, it shouldn’t be a surprise if they missed it. And you can say that about 4-5 teams, as I mentioned above.
The Nuggets didn't do anything significant IIRC..the argument for them making the playoffs would be presumably having Millsap all season, but how is that any different than the Spurs and Wolves being healthier(meaning just adding a Kawhi replacement for the former)?
Every team is somewhat vulnerable other than GS and Houston IMO..Utah had a memorable run, but there's a long list of teams that got hot in a season but subsequently regressed the following year..
Nuggets missed the playoffs by one game. They very likely will be in the mix towards the end of the season. It’s no guarantee they make the playoffs, just like the other teams I mentioned. If they do make it, if the Lakers do, two playoff teams from last year must drop out.
Denver is in the same boat as teams like the Spurs, Wolves, Pelicans, Blazers except they weren’t in the playoffs last season. But it shouldn’t surprise anyone if any of those teams make or miss the playoffs.

Why do you all think OKC will do so well? Just because of getting rid of Carmelo, or did they make an addition that I'm forgetting?
