I don't think so, latinos turned out for Obama.
Walk me through the steps for how someone would get to the voting booth and vote for Beto O'Rourke because they think he's Latino.

That's not an answer. Most of Dwight Eisenhower's campaign materials said "Ike." It's marketing.
In order for someone to be fooled into voting for Beto O'Rourke because he is a Latino, they would have to show up at a polling place, having seen and heard nothing else about him, and register a vote for "Beto O'Rourke" instead of "Ted Cruz" (which would seem to be a more likely choice for people you think are impressionable and unaware enough to choose a candidate based solely on mistaking them to be a Latino.)

The indictment outlines a scheme in which Navarro allegedly made payments from his campaign to various individuals – including Asghari and Abel – and then directed the transfer of cash back to himself for personal use.
Navarro also allegedly used campaign funds to pay for personal expenses, including trips to Las Vegas and wine country, as well as two criminal defense attorneys. According to the indictment, Navarro later falsely reported these expenditures as campaign expenses to the Federal Election Commission.
