Messi had created every chance in that Liverpool second leg. Without him they don’t even get out of group stage. And Messi WC annihilated any Ronaldo NT performance. , Ronaldo’s best moment was being on the sideline while their true mvp that tourney in Pepe saw them through.
The difference has always been when Messi plays poorly, very rarely does anyone else bail him out. Messi was poor in Copa final and yes di maria was amazing.
