SBF's problem is he comingled investors funds in FTX with Alameda, his trading "bank". He used FTX investors money to pay for losses at Alameda. Big no no. He will eventually be indicated for fraud.
As for crypto, I'm glad I only dabbled in it with 10K. I converted back to cash this year and will write down the losses on my taxes this year.
