I don't see how in any way it could be a good article for Cohen.

I will say the Prosecutions lawyer will be able to redirect on cross.
That may soften whatever doubt Trumps liarwyer may have created.

99 prosecution wins, signed checks, several witness corroborations, papertrail corroboration, etc

1 - semi defense point when Cohen could not remember who he spoke to on the phone and is still pretty sure Trump also ok'd the deal by phone...if this call was not the specific call - he will testify to another call/conversation with trump to corroborate trumps involvement...and finally - the jury will use common sense - "well maybe cohen was a bit shaky at one point - but it still doesnt fly that cohen did all that and mortgaged his house - to NOT sleep with the pornstar or the playmate - while trump did"

Its quite a strategy to become president, claim immunity from any crime, and then hire a group of money grubbing liars and cheats to go to jail for you.
Cohen would be happy to do this all again and not get caught. Trump can find the absolute grimiest people on the earth. Bill Clinton and him yucked it up quite a bit while examining women.
Can you imagine being buddies with a guy like Trump? I would have decapitated him in the first five minutes of conversation. Just asked him to follow a little bird outside and knocked his head off.
