I am more disappointed that the director apologized after knowing who she was. So he apologized based on the person rather than the incident? Did he do his job? If he did, then he didn't have to apologize. If he overstepped his boundaries, he should have apologized immediately, regardless if that is Britney Spears or some other nameless overzealous fan.
