Kansas got mauled. They did not have their starting QB.
Texas absolutely pounded the Kansas defensive line in the 4th quarter.
Kansas was very, very fortunate to be close at half time.
Over 300 yards of running and over 300 yards passing.
This was UTs most dominant offensive performance of the year.
The score does not show how bad it got in the 2nd half Imo.
The UT defense did have trouble with the triple option the faster QB back up presented but solved it.
Exciting Saturday. Hope we finish with 4 Undefeated teams. Many old powers having resurgent seasons.
For the first time in a while, there is no powerhouse.
Except for that team that is undefeated that has won the last two national championships?
In 2023 they look even with a number of teams. Maybe even weaker.

I am not a Longhorn fan at all. Hate them bastiges with a passion!!! But, I honestly believe they have a real, real good chance to run the table and win it all this year. If they get past OU, which I think they will, I do not see anyone stopping them from reaching the CHIP.
Kansas State is better than OU at this point Imo.
OU went 3-0 to start the season last year and fell apart.
I think OU is better but I think Kansas State has a better QB. KSU does not have the depth that OU has but has better starting Oline and Dline. OUs LBs have improved enormously.
My take.
Kansas may also be better than OU if the Kansas starting QB is healthy. Probably the best college QB in the Big 12.

Honestly its a wacky rivalry.
Its a 50/50 stadium in which the team with the best players does not necessarily win.
UT definitely has a deeper more talented team this year. But OU has the better college QB up to this point imo.
That means something in this game. Their QB is incredibly accurate and the UT secondary is weak at safety (except for possibly Catalon in the run game) imo.
UT has a better offensive and defensive line but the OU coach will throw so many weird blitzes and coverages at Ewers that it could get interesting.
If UT runs the ball like they have in the 2nd half of almost every game this year they will win. UT has dominated the 4th quarter this year. Just punished the opposition D line after they tire (Alabama included with a 7 min drive to close out the game). Weather should be nice so no excuses really. Except that its a weird game.
Edit: The UT TE who leads the country in receiving yards is thought to be playing but he will be playing hurt. If he does not play it will change the UT passing game drastically.
Sanders opens up so much for the other receivers and he is one guy Ewers can just throw it up to if he is in trouble or confused.
