Tech is teasing right now about ready to crush our souls again. I wish they were getting beat by 30 if they are going to end up losing this one

It's amazing what having a solid offensive line does for a QB.

More than that, his footwork is way better this week when stepping up in pocket

    119 left.
Call me crazy but Tech should just let them score a TD now.
    Edit update.
Play by play was behind, made it seem like Oregon had 1st and 10 with 1:19 to go. Not 4th down.

Hey all we need is a simple Mahomes here.

Saban had quite the run but i think this is how it goes from here on out.

DK how they have become such soft gots but they have.

Props to Horns for not being in awe and making stupid mistakes.

Going to Bama and coming home with a win is the stuff of legends
Manzel did it and he still is revered even though he is a knucklehead

Very low IQ chimp play though by the Oregon defender ... going for the ooga booga pick six for the instagram clout, instead of just going down and ending the game. Now Tech has a chance to tie it again

Good (not great) defense for UT against GA but better offense.

He looked like that the whole 1st quarter against Alabama last year.
Then he got his ass ed because our Oline was weak. And after that, well let’s say he remembered it. For the rest of the season he was wildly inconsistent. (After the injury in the Bama game)

    Not sold yet.
Also the UT receivers are much better this year.
UT still has some problems. But not near as many as last year.

It's fair to be skeptical. This is just one game. But what problems do you see? This team looks for real.

U of H missing their really good QB this year I believe (I know he was gone for their 1st game) and lost a ton of players.
Probably one of, if not THE worst team in the Big12 that just entered.imo…

He was running for his life a bit, I was surprised by how much pressure they got tbh, Murphy got held a few times

Congrats Longhorns. You almost defeated them last season. Bryce Young aside, this was harder at their House and with a year of planning.

VERY slow safeties. But they can make up by being smart.
Run defending linebackers not quick enough. 33 David Gbenda has improved but let’s see. Jaylon Ford is a great instinctive LB but not a sideline to sideline backer. Our Dline and CB, nickels are very good Imo. D is hugely improved though overall. We lost our fastest LB in the draft.

Offense. Runblocking not that good needs to improve. I can’t emphasize enough how good our 2 RBs were last year. They had to make so many moves to get out of the backfield last year to get loose. Those 1st and 3rd round draft choices are obviously gone. But there is the chance the new RBs get much better blocking as the season progresses. Our receivers are very good. Our linemen can be very good if they learn to work as a unit. They are individually talented.

Murphy is a beast. Sweat is not as mean but more talented Imo. And huge…and quick for a mammoth.
