Their run is clearly over, perhaps won't make the playoffs if things don't bounce their way, and so yeah, I agree, Kerr likely doesn't see anymore reason to defend it.

He's not mentally ill. He's one of the smartest players in the game. I realize those are not mutually exclusive. Draymond tries to bring what he has, he's not a great shooter but he's on a team with the best shooters in the history of the league so he tries to be the blue collar guy. He's had carte blanche while they were winning, not so much now maybe. He's intense and doesn't have a low gear. Spurs need him.
