Yeah. He was supposed to be the saviour based on his street baller credentials. The issue is that people couldn’t tell that just because you are good at street brawling doesn’t mean you are an mma fighter, sort of like the basketball version of kimbo slice or the 90s version of skip to my Lou.
He wasn’t that good in the nba, coupled with his off court problems and he just wasn’t worth it.
